HOSTING RECOMMENDATIONS

The following are recommendations and suggestions gathered during the 2003 Eastern Washington Championship Series. These should be considered to ensure a successful and enjoyable event. These are NOT requirements to host a NCT event. The implementation of the following is under the sole discretion of the host:

LAYOUT

A new course layout should be installed 2 weeks prior to the NCT event.

The track should remain closed until the scheduled NCT event and only open for a 1-Day "warm-up race" the weekend prior.

The track should again close until the start of Friday NCT practice.

FORMAT

NCT Practice and Post Registration should be open until 8:00pm Friday practice night.

Advertised NCT Practice times should be strictly adhered too ensuring an equal opportunity for each racer.

Sportsman Nitro classes and Novice Electric classes, if offered, should run 5 min single (non-triple) mains.

IFMAR qualifying should begin from a set point NOT associated with the use of a starting gate.

AWARDS

Door prizes should be awarded by the random drawing of names, from all of the NON A-Main qualifiers on Sunday as an alternative of 1-3 place Trophies in C-Z Mains.
